CSA cultivates new and historical connections between the farmer and the consumer through an annual commitment to each other. It allows us, the farmers, to plan and invest in the upcoming spring, and it allows you to share in the experience of the farm from the spring through the fall. Our program thrives on this collective relationship!
Members receive a weekly box of certified organic seasonal produce delivered to a designated pickup location. Right now we have pickup locations in Saint Charles, and Roselle, and will be adding at least one more location for the 2017 season.
The season runs from June through October, that’s 24 weeks of fresh, weekly in season veggies! At $500/membership that’s only $20.80 a week for fresh organic veggies. Every box is different but we focus on creating a box where everyone will enjoy something. In the spring you can expect things such as greens, radishes, beets, turnips, and broccoli; in the summer months- cucumbers, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, and peppers; and in the fall- cabbages, cauliflower, carrots, and winter squash. Every year we have a lunch and hayrack ride on the farm and CSA members are always welcome to come out and experience where their food comes from and how it’s grown.
